Uginia Urwick is a teacher by profession and have been working in various capacities in diverse settings for over 20 years.
A Community Development Champion-whose innovative alternative Teacher Approach described as :the Inclusive-Special Education Teacher Training Approach-ISETTA) is increasingly contributing in revitalising and revolutionising the quality of teacher education and training in Cameroon.
Her approach is removing artificial barriers and increasing access to diverse opportunities for all , rendering sustainable solutions to cross-sectors issues affecting the society.
Her focus is on providing solutions especially for the underprivileged/ vulnerable members of society, fostering inclusive practices, increasing basic educational access and enrolment of exceptional learners into school, changing societal attitudes positively towards persons with disabilities.
I-SENTTI‘s introduction of an alternative innovative Inclusive –Special Education Teacher Training Approach to replace the archaic long survive standardized General Education Teachers Training Model, has revolutionised Teacher Training In Cameroon and across the continent of Africa.
Through our Inclusive-Special Education Teacher Training Approach, teachers across the country are acquiring the skills and expertise required to provide inclusive education on all levels and industries nationwide.
